What's New in the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC: Phantom Liberty
Cyberpunk 2077 DLC: Phantom Liberty is the first expansion of Cyberpunk 2077. The DLC is available only on the PS5, Xbox, and PC platforms. You can start playing the DLC anytime after completing the Transmission Quest from the base game. It was released on September 26, 2023, and consists of a brand-new story, location, characters, items, and features for players to explore. This article talks about all the new content from the DLC.

Cyberpunk 2077 DLC: Phantom Liberty puts V, your character, into a spy-thrill story set in a new area in Night City. The mission is to rescue and keep the President of NUSA, Rosalind Myers, safe from the dangerous people who reside in Dogtown.
Phantom Liberty Locations
Dogtown
The story of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty takes place in a new area called Dogtown. It is a Combat Zone and a subdistrict of Pacifica in southern Night City. Dogtown is a walled-off place full of criminals, gang members, and smugglers— making it the most dangerous area in Night City, and getting in won't be easy.

Kress Street Hideout is an apartment that the player can unlock in Cyberpunk 2077 DLC: Phantom Liberty. In here, you can rest and change outfits or appearances at your convenience.

Song So Mi, also known as Songbird, is one of the main characters in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. She is a talented Netrunner for the New United States of America (NUSA) and works under President Rosalind Myers. She is voiced by Minji Chang, known for her role in Lisa Mania and Honestly.
Solomon Reed
Solomon Reed is one of the major characters and the main companion for V in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. He is an agent for the Federal Intelligence Agency (FIA). He is portrayed by Idris Elba, known for his role in the Thor Film Series, and voice characters from The Jungle Book and Finding Dory.
Rosalind Myers
Rosalind Myers is the President of NUSA and the former CEO of Militech. V is tasked to keep her safe and gather her subordinates. She is voiced by Kay Bess, known for her roles in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and Star Trek Picard.
Alex
Alena Xenakis, also known as Alex, is one of the main characters in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. She works as an undercover agent for the FIA, who got stuck in Dogtown after the Unification War. She is voiced by Yvonne Senat Jones.
No Romance Options
Interactions with all of the new characters do not lead to any romance routes. The farthest the relationship can go is having a close friendship where the characters respect you. The closest romance scene that you can get is the dancing scene with Alex.
Kurt Hansen
Kurt Hansen is one of the antagonists in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. He is the leader and founder of a militia called the Barghest. He is voiced by Eliah Mountjoy, known for providing the English voice of Bastian in Fire Emblem Heroes.
Stella Ramos
Stella Ramos is a minor character in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. She is associated with the Sphere Hunter side quest. She is voiced by Suzi Hunter, known for her role as Alisa in Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat.
Ash

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty length is around 30 to 40 hours of gameplay to finish the game. It includes doing the main story, side quests, and gigs in the DLC. Depending on how you play the game, there should be 18 Main Story Quests, 21 Side Jobs, and 10 Gigs.

Phantom Liberty Features
Relic Perks
Relic Perks are a new set of Perks exclusive to the Phantom Liberty DLC. It can be used as an additional upgrade to the players' Cyberware, granting V incredible abilities. To unlock these perks, you will have to gather enough Relic Points. You can find these scattered around the area. If you are close to a Relic Point, a blue Relic Point icon will appear on the map.

Spatial Mapping | • Jailbreak is required to unlock this skill • All Leap attacks using Mantis Blades will cripple enemies and increase dismemberment for 10 seconds. |
Limiter Removal | • Jailbreak is required to unlock this skill • Gorilla Arms charged attacks can knock down enemies within range. |

Vehicle Combat
Players can now fight enemies even while driving. These features include players being able to fire at enemies or use weapons like machine guns or rockets mounted on cars to fight. Netrunner builds can also do quickhacks on enemy vehicles and players can also wield Katanas while riding a bike.
