There are quite a few references hidden in the game. Here are a few hidden secrets and easter eggs in Vampire Survivors that you may have missed.

Can You Pet the Dog?

Dog

You can pet the playable dog character O’Sole Meeo, whose name is also a reference to the famous Neapolitan song, O sole mio.

Just type the word pet while using O’Sole Meeo, and a ring of hearts will spawn and heal you. This is in reference to a famous X (formerly Twitter) account, @CanYouPetTheDog that posts about games where you can pet the dog

Corn Field

Corn

By typing popthecorn in the spell section when using the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane, you will be transported to the Green Acres with a ring of corn surrounding your character. The corn also heals you once it is consumed, which can be useful in the run.

This may be a reference to the 1984 horror film, Children of the Corn, wherein children are brainwashed into attacking adults. It may also be a more general reference, like crop circles.

Halloween Costumes

Halloween

By typing spoopyseason in the Forbidden Scrolls, you are transported to the Bone Zone as either Bianca Ramba, Mortaccio, O’Sole Meeo, or Yatta Cavallo. The characters and their attacks also receive new Halloween-themed skins.

Konami Code

Konami

The famous Konami code is often referenced in many games. In Vampire Survivors, if you enter their version of the code during the main menu (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, escape, enter), you'll receive Mortaccio as a playable character, as well as 2,800 gold, which you can only do once.

You can also unlock the character Exdash using the code x-x1viiq.

Region-Specific Enemies

Kappa

If you have the DLC, Legacy of the Moonspell, you need to slay 6,000 Kappa to unlock Gav’Et-Oni, which might be difficult. However, if you head northwest to a frozen lake, you'll find that there are tons of Kappa.

Aside from introducing the new region-specific enemy mechanic, it also references Japanese mythology, since Kappas typically inhabit bodies of water.

Secret Piano

There is a hidden playable piano that can only be accessed as part of the unlocking process for Avatar Infernas. You also have to play a specific string of keys in order to be transported to the lair of the Avatar.

The Secret Menu in Vampire Survivors provides hints for unlocking secret characters and grants players the ability to "cast spells." The line "cast spells" basically means inputting specific codes to unlock characters, items, or Arcanas.

You can unlock the Secret Menu by getting the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane from Sketamari in The Bone Zone map, or by clicking the sixth relic icon with the pink background seven times.

MissingNo

MissingNo

Glitches have been a part of gaming since the dawn of video games. It is usually an unintended consequence of faulty coding or various other external factors. However, games have learned to embrace the existence of glitches and have been making intentional ones as easter eggs.

MissingNo is a playable glitch character whose equipment, stats, and appearance are random for every run. To unlock this character, you must first survive the Glitch Dimension, which can be triggered when you enable both Hyper and Inverted Mode and move towards the lower-left area of the map.
