1Advance the Mind Place case board
First, advance the Mind Place through the case board. All other cases and clues will disappear, so just stick the clues you have on hand.

2Profile the Other Saga
Once you progress through the case board and are able to profile, try profiling the Other Saga. Profiling the Other Saga three times will give clues to advance the case board further. -
3Progress the Case Board by Profiling
Once you have gathered clues, continue advancing the case board. All obtained clues can be placed under "Failed "Them."" Placing three clues will allow you to further profile a different saga, so it is recommended to proceed.

4Attach 7 Clues on Logan
Profiling the "The Horror Story" clue of the Other Saga will allow you to get another clue named "Logan is dead." By attaching the clue to "Logan died because of you," you can obtain an additional clue. So, let's place them all in the same location.

5Explore the Mind Place and Continue Profiling.
Advancing the case board on Logan will allow you to obtain clues in the Mind Place. Attach the additional clues to the case board found in the Mind Place, and further conduct back to profiling.

6Exit the Mind Place and Answer the Phone
When you leave the Mind Place, you will enter the Dark Place that you explored as Alan. Since the phone is ringing near the starting position, answer it.

7Talk to Sheriff Tim Breaker
After asking about the shoebox on the phone, proceed to the square with the fountain and meet Sheriff Tim Breaker by following the humming sound. When you talk to Sheriff Tim Breaker, you will be able to profile Warlin Door.

8Profile Warlin Door
After talking to Sheriff Breaker, profile Warlin Door. Profiling Warlin Door will change the objective and allow you to go to Parliament Tower Square through the subway.

9Pass through the Subway from the Plaza Door
When you profile the door, a door leading to the subway will appear in the square. Pass through the subway, go down the stairs, pass through the ticket gate, and climb the staircase on the left to reach Parliament Tower Square.

10Examine the Shoebox next to the Statue.
Once you arrive at Parliament Tower Square, examine the shoe box near the central statue and obtain the Clicker and Light Bullets. Obtaining the Clicker and Bullet of Light will allow you to talk to Wake during profiling.

11Talk to Wake during the Profiling
During profiling, talk to Wake. In the conversation with Wake, find a way to rewrite the ending and decide to face it together.

12Go from the Subway Door to the Plaza with the Fountain
Descend into the subway again, pass through the ticket gate, and go to the fountain square through the door on the right. Enemies will appear along the way, but you can avoid combat by passing through the door.

13Enter the Fountain
Proceed to the center of the fountain square and enter the fountain. Entering the fountain completes the story of Alan Wake 2.

Things to Do After the Ending
Collecting Collectibles
After reaching the end, it is recommended to collect any missed collectibles. If you are playing the Saga chapter, collect them in Return 6. If you are playing the Alan chapter, collect them in Initiation 8. Since the areas you can access during the story progression are limited, if you haven't performed a manual save, you will need to start from the beginning to collect them again.
