Collectibles can earn you trophies. If you progress too far in the story, you won't be able to return to some locations. In turn, this will make you miss out on certain collectibles you did not find. So, make sure to actively find the collectibles.

Lunch Box
Obtain Manuscript Pages
Lunch boxes are placed in various locations on the map that contain Manuscript Pages. These pages are required to upgrade weapons in Saga's storyline. Since many pages are present in the game, it is advisable to collect them as much as you can.
Cult Stash
Obtain Cult Stashes Hidden by the Cult
Cult Stashes allow you to obtain supplies hidden by the cult. Cult Stashes are boxes that are locked, and require solving puzzles or riddles to be opened. They contain valuable items such as inventory slot upgrades, ammunition, and more.
Nursery Rhyme Puzzle
Obtain Charms
The Nursery Rhyme Puzzle allows you to obtain Charms that can strengthen Saga Anderson. To solve the puzzle, you need dolls. However, the dolls you use are also required in other puzzles. So, make sure to retrieve the dolls after completing one Nursery Rhyme Puzzle.
Television
Watch Television Commercials
Approach televisions located throughout the game to watch television commercials. While you cannot obtain rewards such as items, they count as collectibles required for trophy completions. So, make sure to watch the commercials if you find a television.
Manuscript
Obtain a Manuscript Summarizing the Events that Occur
The Manuscripts summarize the events that will happen in the game. They can be picked up when found. Since Manuscripts contain additional information in the story, finding them and reading their contents may prove useful.
Echo
Collectibles that can be Viewed by Alan
Echoes are collectibles that can only be viewed by Alan. To inspect an Echo, shine a light on the overlapping area of the white and black circles nearby. These Echoes play a crucial role in the story, so be sure to locate and explore their contents.
Words of Power
Collectibles that can Enhance Alan's Abilities
Words of Power are collectibles that can enhance Alan's abilities. They only can be collected while controlling Alan. They allow you to strengthen weapons and recover health through specific actions.
Weapons
Pick up Weapons that make Progress Easier
Weapons can be found randomly in certain locations, or obtained through the main story objectives. Since it is not reassuring to only have a Handgun, picking up Shotguns and Flare Guns may prove more advantageous for your playthrough.
