The Key for the Lake Cabins Stash is in the Rental Cabins area. Use the Boltcutters to get in. Head north and find trees with numbers on them. Go to the tree marked "2" and find the Lake Cabins stash Key on the ground. This will open the stash in Cabin 1.

Get The Key After Defeating the Boss

Once you've bested the Bright Falls boss, the flooding will have subsided. The Stash and the Key is accessible. The Key can be taken by following the gray signs with white arrows leading to a tree. It is found South of the Valhalla Nursing Home.
West of Forest Ranger Station
