Location of Data Collectors
Checking the Activation Status of Data Collectors
Hover the cursor over the green dot on the map
Hover the cursor over the green dot on the map. If it displays "Data Collector," the device is already activated. Blue dots represent locked content, while green dots signify unlocked content. Remember this method as a quick way to check the status of various devices.
Look for the wind turbine as a landmark
Use the wind turbine as a prominent landmark to identify the data collection device. Upon reaching the area, spotting the wind turbine will guide you effortlessly to the data collection device.
How to Activate the Data Collector
Activate 3 antennas after scanning the main body
Activate the data collection device by first scanning its main body with the SID. Subsequently, scan the 3 antennas located nearby. Aim the SID, and observe the reticle in the center of the screen becoming a square to pinpoint the antenna locations effectively.
Rewards for Activating Data Collectors
Progress in Side Quests
By activating all 9 Data Collectors, the side quest, System Reboot will progress. Speak to the NPC at the Resistance Headquarters to complete the quest and receive modification parts and skill points.
