Can You Play in Co-op Mode?

Online Mode

In Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you can play Online Mode with up to 2 players. By cooperating with another player, you can experience a different gameplay experience compared to playing solo. If you have someone to play with, give Co-op Mode a try.

All Story-related quests can be played in co-op

In "Avatar: Frontier of Pandora," all Story-related quests can be played in co-op. If you have a close friend to play with, you can play through the entire story together from start to finish.

3 Join 2-player Co-op from within the game

Connect to the internet

If you want to play Co-op in Avatar: Frontier of Pandora, first connect to the internet. It goes without saying that you need an internet connection to play online mode.

Subscribe to PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold

If you want to play Online Mode on PS5, you need to subscribe to the paid PlayStation Plus. If you want to play Online Mode on Xbox, you need to subscribe to the paid Xbox Live Gold. This is often required for other games as well, so take this opportunity to subscribe if you haven't already.

Join 2-player Co-op Play from within the game

Steps for 2-player Co-op Play
1 Clear the main quest, The Aranahe Clan to unlock Co-op Play
2 Touch pad Touch pad or Option Option to open the menu
3 D-pad left Left D-pad to open settings
4 Select Co-op Play
5 Choose a friend and invite them by pressing Cross button Cross button
6 Once the invited friend presses the join button, it's done

After preparing an internet connection, join a 2-player Co-op Play in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora from within the game. Co-op Play is unlocked by progressing through the main story, so start by playing the game solo.

Cannot play co-op from the beginning

Co-op play cannot be done from the beginning. It is unlocked after clearing the main story, The Aranahe Clan. So make sure to progress through the quests first.

Join the party leader's world

Co-op play is done by joining the party leader's world. When co-op play ends, both players return to their own worlds, so the joining player should keep that in mind. Also, even after returning to your own world, you can skip the story progress made in co-op play.

There are items that cannot be brought back

There are items that cannot be brought back in co-op play. We are not aware of the types of items that cannot be brought back. But, according to the strategy team, items obtained in the story like the Heavy Bow can be brought back.

Cannot pause the game during co-op play

You cannot pause the game during co-op play. Be careful as you may still be attacked by enemies even when the menu is open.
