There are two limited editions of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: Gold and Ultimate. Both editions include the Season Pass which allows access to future additional content. But, the Ultimate Edition includes additional items for fans, such as the Digital Artbook.
Which Edition Should You Buy?
Standard Edition is Recommended
Among the three editions, the Standard Edition, which includes only the main game, is recommended. The Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition come with a season pass that allows you to play additional DLCs that will be released in the future. But, it's difficult to decide whether to play the DLCs at the pre-play stage.
If You're Playing on PC, Subscription is Good
If you want to play Avatar: Frontier of Pandora on PC in a short period of time, UBISOFT's Subscription is recommended. For $17.99 per month, you can play over 100 PC games and this includes Avatar: Frontier of Pandora.
If You Plan to Play DLCs, Go for Gold
If you already have the intention to play the DLCs at the pre-play stage, it's recommended to buy the Gold Edition. The Gold Edition includes a season pass that allows you to play upcoming stories and quests.
Ultimate Edition is for Hardcore Fans
The Ultimate Edition is an edition for hardcore fans. In addition to the main game and the season pass, it includes various skins and a Digital Artbook, and the price is nearly twice as much as the Standard Edition at $129.99
