Tips for Combat in Avatar FOP
Crouch to avoid being detected by enemies
By crouching, you can move without being detected by enemies and avoid taking damage. Additionally, if you can approach enemies without being detected and land the first hit, you can gain an advantage. During combat, you can reset the enemy's alert state by keeping your distance and crouching.
Use Na'vi senses to find enemy weak points
Powerful enemies such as large machines or combat aircraft may have weak points. By using Na'vi senses, you can identify these weak points and exploit them. It is recommended to actively use Na'vi senses.
Take down enemies one by one taking cover
In combat as an Avatar, multiple enemies often appear. If you engage in direct combat, you will quickly deplete your HP due to concentrated attacks. Therefore, take cover to enter the enemy's blind spots and take them down one by one.
Boost your abilities temporarily with meals
Eating meals can grant resistance to attacks such as fire or explosions, as well as increase your movement speed. Prepare meals before engaging in combat to maintain the buff effects throughout the battle.
Attack enemies from a distance to avoid detection
By attacking enemies from a distant location where they cannot detect you, you can minimize the damage you receive. In areas with many enemies, it is recommended to find a safe location far away.
Utilize weapons found in the field
Powerful weapons may be found within enemy facilities. If you lack firepower, search the field for any weapons that may have been dropped.
What to Do When You Can't Win
Maximize Your Items and Equipment
When you're stuck, check your items, equipment, and weapons. If you progress through the early stages and explore to gather items and equipment, you'll almost never lose.
Lower the Difficulty Level
If you're unable to win battles and find yourself stuck, lower the difficulty level. In the settings menu, under Gameplay, set the combat challenge to low. This will decrease the damage you receive from enemies and increase the damage you deal, making battles easier to progress through.
