Effects of Passing the Time

Changing Time and Weather

Map

When you pass the time, the time and weather change. There are high-quality materials and animals that sleep at night, so it's important to remember how to pass the time.

Weather Changes Randomly

The time changes in the order of "night, dawn, day, dusk", but the weather changes randomly. If you want to aim for a specific weather, try "passing the time" repeatedly.

No Recovery Effect

Rest Spot

Since you're not doing anything while passing time, it may seem like your stamina would recover, but there is no recovery effect. If you want to recover, use recovery materials in recovery kits or eat food.

How to Pass the Time

First, Go to a Base

Map

If you want to pass the time, go to a base. It's easy to fast travel to any base by opening the map.

There are also resting spots that are not unlocked until you progress in the game. If you're just starting the game, most areas other than the cave near the Resistance Headquarters are not unlocked, so it's a good idea to fast travel to the Resistance Headquarters if you're unsure.

Approach a Resting Spot and Pass time

Rest Spot

You can pass the time at a resting spot. When you get close to a resting spot at a base, the option to pass time will be displayed. Press the specified button to pass the time.
