The basic method to restore a Pal's Sanity is to let them rest in a Hot Spring, which they will automatically enter once you set it up. It is recommended to build one when you reach Level 9.

You Can Also Manually Put Pals into the Hot Springs

Some Pals may not enter the Hot Springs on their own and continue working instead. As their SAN stat gradually decreases, try to lift them and put them inside.

Create Meals with Sanity Recovery Effects

Meal

It is also important to provide meals with SAN recovery effects. To save time, prepare dishes in advance and place them in the top left corner of the Feed Box.

How to Prevent Low SAN Stat

Avoid Overworking Pals

Monitoring Station

Avoid overworking your Pals, especially when the Super Hard Working option is enabled at the Monitoring Stand, as it quickly depletes their SAN stat. It is recommended to limit its use or prepare means of sanity recovery beforehand.

Provide Meals to Maintain Satiety

Feeding Box

To prevent a decrease in SAN stat and maintain Satiety through meals, install and place meals on the Feed Box so that your Pals can eat in moderation.

Some meals can not only maintain Satiety but also directly affect Sanity. It is advisable to prioritize meals that can both sustain Satiety and effectively counteract the decrease in SAN stat.

Craft Beds for Pals at the Base

Bed

If a Pal at the base does not have a bed, their mood will worsen, reducing their Sanity. As the number of Pals increases due to base upgrades, it is recommended to increase the number of Pal Beds accordingly.

Drawbacks of Low SAN Stat

Tendency to Slack Off

Slacking Off

Pals tend to slack off with their work if their Sanity is low. Neglecting the care of their SAN stat will result in a decrease in their work efficiency. Therefore, it is important to take proper measures to maintain their SAN value.

Prone to Illness and Injury

High Grade Medical Supplies

Pals are more prone to illness and injury with a low SAN stat. While they can be treated with medicine, the process is costly and time-consuming. It is recommended to implement safety measures and prevent the lowering of their Sanity.
