How to Slide
Press the C key while dashing

To perform a slide, press the C key while dashing. If you are playing with a gamepad, you can slide by pressing the B Button.
Does not consume stamina
While sliding, stamina is not consumed. This allows you to conserve stamina when going downhill, making it useful for short-distance movements.
Change the control keys
You can change the control keys for sliding in the Options. By modifying "Crouch/Slide/Ride Skill 3" for keyboard or "Roll/Crouch/Ride Skill 3" for controllers, you can customize the settings.

Descending Slopes Quickly Without Using Stamina
Sliding allows you to descend slopes quickly without using stamina. It is useful for short-distance travel or situations where you cannot ride a mount.
Extending Travel Distance by Jumping with Momentum
When sliding down a slope and gaining speed, you can jump to extend your travel distance by utilizing momentum. Jump right before reaching the flat ground after reaching maximum speed to maintain your movement speed during the jump.
Slower Speed on Surfaces Other Than Slopes
Sliding has a slower speed on surfaces other than slopes. Sliding on flat ground or uphill will make you slower than walking, and you will transition into crouching movement. Therefore, use sliding only when descending slopes.
