Once you have summoned a Pal with the Meat Cleaver equipped, the Pet option in the command wheel will change to Butcher. Keep in mind that butchered Pals will disappear permanently, so it's recommended to remove frequently used Pals from your inventory before doing this.

Humans can also be Butchered

In Palworld, you also have the option to butcher captured humans. However, considering that they can be sold at a high price to Black Marketeers, it is more profitable to sell them.

Benefits of Butchering Pals

Collect More Materials

Collect More Materials

Butchered Pals can drop items listed on their Paldeck entry. Since items also drop when you capture a Pal, it's advisable to catch Pals then butcher them to collect more materials.
