Fireball Attack

Fireball Attack

Marcus and Faleris' fireball attack shoots explosive spheres toward the current location. It is fast and difficult to dodge, but it does not cause burning even if it hits.

Flame Ground Attack

Flame Floor Attack

The flame ground attack targets a red area on the ground. There is some time between it turning red and the attack occurring, so calmly retreat to an area where the floor is not red.

Tracking Thunder Attack

Tracking Thunder Attack

The tracking thunder attack is a lightning attack that follows its target. It can be avoided by moving, but if you have a water Pal out that is being targeted, it is recommended to recall it temporarily.

Flame Scatter Shot Attack

Flame Scatter Shot Attack

The flame scatter shot attack is a ranged attack that uses scattered fire bullets. The firing speed is slow, so it can be avoided by moving, but in emergencies, it is best to dodge with a roll.

Giant Fireball Attack

Giant Fireball Attack

The giant fireball attack inflicts damage and sets the surrounding area on fire when it hits the ground. To dodge it, roll in the opposite direction of the ball after it is released. However, the timing is difficult, so it is recommended to use a Pal as a decoy or strengthen your equipment to tank it.

Wide-range Thunder Attack

Wide-range Thunder Attack

The wide-range thunder attack uses lightning to strike within a wide area. When the animation occurs, roll and move to escape the area.

Straight-line Thunder or Flame Attack

Straight-line Thunder or Flame Attack

The straight-line thunder or flame attack is a technique that attacks in a straight line of thunder or flame. In the case of thunder, there will be lightning accumulating under Faleris beforehand, so if you see it, roll to avoid it.

Flame Tornado Attack

Flame Tornado Attack

The Flame Tornado Attack is an attack where a slowly advancing tornado is unleashed towards the target. Since it hits multiple times, when you see the tornado, try to move sideways to avoid it.

How to Defeat Marcus and Faleris

Points to Defeat Marcus and Faleris
Strengthen your equipment and shields
Teach a non-weakness attribute Pal water skills
Fight the boss from a distance

Strengthen Your Equipment and Shields

Strengthen Your Equipment and Shields

When facing Marcus and Faleris, it is recommended to have your equipment and shields at the highest level you can currently create. While their HP is similar to Axel and Orserk, the difficulty increases due to their attack avoidance and damage from being on fire.

When challenging Marcus and Faleris, it is recommended to be at least Level 45 or higher. Upgrading your Pal's level and equipment before the challenge will make it easier to defeat them. If you have enough resources, using strong equipment such as Hyper Shield or Assault Rifle will make the battle even easier.

Teach a Non-Weakness Attribute Pal a Water Skill

Teach a Non-Weakness Attribute Pal a Water Attribute

Marcus and Faleris have a fire attribute, but they can be weakened by using water attribute skills. Teach a Pal with a Water attribute skill to fight against them. To teach a Pal a water attribute skill, you will need Skill Fruits, so it's a good idea to collect them regularly.

Fight the Boss from a Distance

Fight the Boss from a Distance

Marcus and Faleris' attacks are easier to dodge when you are at a distance, so try to keep your distance while fighting. Some attacks can be blocked by pillars, so it's also effective to attack from around the pillars while using your Pal as a decoy.

If Using a Gun, Target Marcus

If the player is using a gun to attack, it is recommended to target Marcus as he is weak to gun attacks. Hitting him will cause the damage to turn red, dealing more damage than usual.

If you want to use a decoy, the earth attribute Pal is recommended

If you want to use Pal as a decoy when fighting Marcus and Faleris, an earth attribute Pal is recommended. An earth attribute Pal is not weak to fire and has resistance to thunder, making it a good choice to tank the boss's attacks.

Water attribute is also good if you can avoid lightning attacks

If you can time your moves to avoid Marcus and Faleris' lightning attacks, it is recommended to use a water attribute Pal. With a Pal like Kelpsea that can enhance water attribute attacks, you can quickly defeat the boss by strengthening attacks that exploit its weakness.

Fill the empty slots with Daedream

After forming a team with about 2-3 decoys, it is recommended to organize Pals in the empty slots that have effects just by being in your possession, such as Gobfin or Daedream.
