The Ranch and Breeding Farm can be constructed through Technology after reaching the required level and gathering the necessary materials. Build them according to your needs, as they serve different purposes.
How to Assign Pals to the Ranch

1Place Pal at the Base
Pals cannot be assigned from your inventory, so you need to physically place them at the base.

Choose any Pal you want at the base and lift them using the F key.

Throw the Pal you're carrying towards the facility. Assign a Pal to the Ranch when the facility's UI is displayed. If you are unable to assign it successfully, lift a Pal again and try throwing it in once more.

You can get certain items based on the Pal you have placed at the Ranch. Make sure to put Pals that are only suitable for the facility.
Produce Eggs at the Breeding Farm
You can produce eggs at the Breeding Farm by placing a male and female Pal along with a cake in the chest.
