Recommended Locations

Ore and Coal Base

The cliff area north of Mossanda Forest is another recommended location for your base. This spot offers the advantage of collecting substantial amounts of both ore and coal. Moreover, the climate and safety are excellent. However, due to the varying elevation, it is recommended to construct a flat base to optimize your building in this location.

Build at Level 34

Aim to build the Metal and Coal Base at around Level 34. With the Improved Furnace unlocked at Level 34, you can make Refined Ingots using Ore and Coal as materials.

Sulfur Base

The southern part of Mount Obsidian is a rich source of Sulfur. However, due to the lower safety level and the hot environment, it is advisable to consider building in this area during the mid to late game. Sulfur is a crucial ingredient for crafting gunpowder and other bullet-related items, making it an essential resource for your progress.

Build at Level 35

The surrounding area of the Sulfur Base has a difficulty level of around 35, so it is recommended to build around Level 35. At least raise your level to 25 to be able to craft Heat Resistant Metal Armors, which can protect against heat damage.

Pure Quartz Base

Northeast of the Land of Absolute Zero, there's an abundance of Pure Quartz waiting to be collected. Furthermore, the Mammorest Cryst in this area provides High Quality Pal Oil, making it a convenient location for gathering materials needed for Polymer and Circuit Boards. Placing a Palbox on the hill can effectively cover all the Pure Quartz veins, enhancing the efficiency of your resource collection.

Build at Level 40

The Pals in the vicinity of the Pure Quartz Base are around Level 40, so it is recommended to build after reaching Level 40. Also, since the area where the Pure Quartz Base is located is cold, it is advisable to craft Cold Resistant Pelt Armor before building.

Temporary Base Locations for Early Game

You can build your base near the Plateau of the Beginnings. It is flat and open, making it easy to build on. There are also Pals nearby that are useful in the early game. Additionally, there is a spot inside the base where Ore, necessary for leveling up the base, spawns, making it sufficient land for a temporary base for early game.

The ideal location for establishing your base is the Windswept Hills, Southwest of the Small Settlement. This area offers a flat and expansive space with a low risk of hostile creature spawns nearby, ensuring a high level of safety. Moreover, it's advantageous as you can mine large quantities of Ore, a highly sought-after material.

Build at Level 10

Aiming for Level 10 is advisable when building an Ore base since Ore, a crucial material refined using the Primitive Furnace, becomes available at this level. Additionally, considering that the surrounding creature levels are also around 10, building the Ore base at Level 10 ensures better compatibility with the challenges presented by the environment.

Plains near Marsh Island are Recommended

When building a base camp, try to build it on a flat area if possible. The plains near the Fast Travel Marsh Island are recommended for base camps or early game bases as there are Stones and Ore nearby.

Place Cake Material Pals and Mixing Pals

In your base, place Pals necessary for making cakes. Making cakes requires four Work Suitabilities: Planting/Watering/Gathering/Farming, as well as Transporting and Kindling. So make sure you Pals for those.

How to Set Up and Move Multiple Bases

You Can Set Up 2 Bases by Base Level 10

If you want to create a second base, raise the base level to 10 to be able to set up 2 bases. The base level increases as you clear the specified base missions.

If you want to move, dismantle before Lv10

If you want to move to a different location before reaching Base Level 10, you have no choice but to dismantle the already installed Palbox. Dismantling the Palbox will also dismantle all other buildings that cannot be placed outside the base. The Pals inside the box will automatically return to the base, so there is no need to worry about losing Pals during base relocation.

Base Level is Retained even after Dismantling

Even if you dismantle the Palbox, the base level will not decrease and will be retained. The new base can also accommodate the same number of Pals as the previous base.
