Palworld: How to Breed and Select Skills

Breeding Farm	Level 19
	Obtain CraftingMaterials Wood×100 / Stone×20 / Fiber×50

First, raise your level to 19 and unlock the Breeding Farm in the Technology menu. Then, construct the Breeding Farm in your base. Since it requires a large amount of Fiber, it is recommended to use a Crusher to break down Wood and create the necessary materials.

Once you have built the Breeding Farm, throw Pals in the ranch and assign a male and female Pal. The specific type of Pal does not matter as long as their genders are different. Additionally, the offspring will inherit skills from their parents, so it is recommended to choose Pals with powerful skills as parents.

Cake	Level 17
	Obtain Cook in a Cooking PotMaterials Flour×5 / Red Berry×8 / Milk×7 / Egg×8 / Honey×2

After assigning Pals to the Breeding Farm, make a Cake and place it in the food box to start the breeding process. Cake can be crafted in a Cooking Pot.

• Try to automate the acquisition of cake ingredients.

  Honey
  	Obtain Dropped by Beegarde and Cinnamoth Ranched by Beegarde

  The production of ingredients to make a Cake can be automated, so if you automate everything, you won't have to worry about running out of Cake. It's a good idea to always have a stock of Cake so that you can make many Pals and combinations.

Finally, let's hatch the obtained eggs. Egg hatching can be unlocked at Ancient Technology Lv7.

The skills of a Pal are determined upon capturing, so it is recommended to obtain Pals by purchasing from merchants or capturing them out in the world.

• Skill selection is possible at the base by capturing merchants

  After capturing a Merchant, the merchandise lineup changes when they are brought in and out of the base. By repeating this process until you obtain a Pal with the desired Passive Skill, you can easily perform skill selection without having to capture Pals in the wild.

• Some Passive Skills cannot be obtained from merchants

  However, some passives cannot be obtained from merchants. Legend is exclusive to Legendary Pals, and Rare is exclusive to Lucky Pals, so try to explore and capture them. Also, passive skills that increase attribute attacks, such as Flame Emperor, are learned by specific Pals, so try to capture the corresponding Pals or obtain them through breeding.

  List of Passive Skills

Once the parents have been carefully selected, breed a male and female Pal that have the skills you want the Egg to inherit. The inheritance of skills is random, with 0 to 4 skills being passed down, so it is recommended to breed multiple times until you get a Pal with the desired skills.

Keep breeding until you get the desired Pal. Using a breeding search tool will make it easier to find the route to produce the desired Pal, so it is recommended to use it to raise your own strongest Pal.
