For the Pal used for battles, let's inherit Passive Skills that increase attack power and defense. Especially in high-difficulty boss battles, the enemy's attack power increases, so prioritizing defense buffs is recommended.
Breed Legendary Pals with other Pals to inherit the Legend Skill. Legend is a Passive Skill unique to Legendary Pals, so you cannot get them through capturing or breeding normal Pals.
