How to Open the Map

Share Button for PS Controller

For Playstation controllers, the Map is opened using the Share button located next to the D-pad. The position and name of the button remain the same for both PS4 and PS5 controllers.

View Button for Xbox Controller

On Xbox controllers, the Map is opened using the View button located on the left side in the center. Similar to PS4 and PS5, remembering that the Map button is on the left side is helpful.

Fast Travel Cannot Be Done from the Map

Although the locations for Fast Travel are displayed on the map, Fast Travel cannot be done from the Map. If you want to Fast Travel, head to a Fast Travel location known as the Great Eagle Statue or go to your base and use the Palbox.

Plateau of Beginnings

The Plateau of Beginnings is the first area on Palpagos Island. Zoe is the boss of Rayne Tower Syndicate located in this area. Upgrade your gears and Pals to defeat Zoe.

Small Snowy Mountain

Small Snowy Mountain

Head north from the Plateau of Beginnings, and you will encounter a small snowy mountain. There, you'll find the Tower of the Free Pal Alliance, where you can challenge the boss Lily and Lyleen.

Volcano

Volcano

The southwest section of the map features Volcanic areas that are extremely hot. Make sure to have heat-resistant gear ready before going to the Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre, where you can engage in battle with the boss Axel and Orserk.

Desert

Desert

There is a Desert to the northeast of the Small Snowy Mountain. Similar to locations with volcanoes, this is a hot environment where you need to equip the necessary armor. You can challenge Marcus and Faleris at the Tower of the PIDF in this area.

Snowy Mountain

There's a larger Snowy Mountain when you head nortwest on the Small Snowy Mountain. You'll find the Tower of the PAL Genetic Research Unit here, where you can fight Victor and Shadowbeak. Equip cold-resistant gear before taking on this challenge.

Wildlife Sanctuary

The Wildlife Sanctuary is an area where rare Pals appear. Some Pals can only be found in the Wildlife Sanctuary, so visit it to complete your Paldeck. Note that entering the area is considered a crime, and you will be considered wanted.
