Glider Pals require specific Gloves in order to be equipped and used. Gloves can be crafted on a Pal Gear Workbench by gathering the required materials.
Recipe Unlocks after Catching Pal
When capturing a Glider Pal, the recipe for its Gloves is automatically added to the Technology Tree. Make sure to unlock what you need because doing so consumes Technology points.

Using Pals as Gliders
Use the Pal as a Glider
Some Pals can be equipped as a Glider. By pressing the space button while jumping, you can summon it and move around while slowly descending.
Ready to Use
By keeping your Glider Pal’s Gloves in your inventory, you can use it to traverse anytime you want. This frees up an equipment slot since you don’t need to equip a normal Glider, making you lighter overall.
