Configuring What Drops upon Death
Changing the Death Penalty settings allows you to configure what items will be dropped upon death. For beginners, it is recommended to choose No Drops, and as you become more experienced, you can change the setting to add more challenge.
Four Available Configurations
There are four types of Death Penalty settings available. They range from not dropping anything to dropping all items you possess. Choose the setting that matches the difficulty level you want.
How to Set Death Penalty Settings
Select from World Settings
You can select the Death Penalty from the World Settings. After selecting Change World Settings from the World Selection menu, you can change the Death Penalty under the Custom Settings section.
Logout Required to Make Changes
You cannot change Death Penalty settings while logged into the world, so you need to logout first. The world will be saved when you logout, so you can safely go back to the title screen from the menu and make the necessary changes.
