How to Increase Legend Ranks
Clear Quests
Legend Rank can be increased by clearing quests. There are three types of quests: main story quests (Jin's Journey), side quests (Tales of Tsushima), and Mythic Tales. However, clearing the main story quests greatly increases your legend rank. As such, prioritize clearing the main story quest!

Conquer Mongol War Camps
Legend rank can be raised by conquering Mongol camps scattered throughout the map. Mongol camps not only contain collectibles to obtain trophies such as "Avid Reader" and "Know Your Enemy", but also gather materials such as supplies. Therefore, conquer Mongol camps when you find them!

Defeat Bandits and Mongol Soldiers Along the Way
Legend Rank can be increased by defeating bandits and Mongol soldiers that appear throughout the map. The increase is not as high as quests and Mongol camp conquests. However, if you learn skills like "Improved Standoff Streak" which allows you to quickly finish battles, you can also shorten the combat time. Therefore, it's not so bad to defeat bandits and Mongol soldiers for resource gathering and other purposes.

Benefits of Legend Rank
Unlock Ghost Weapons
Ghost weapons are unlocked as you raise your Legend Rank. Ghost weapons are special equipment that can be useful in battles, such as kunai and bombs. Unlocking ghost weapons expands your strategic options, allowing you to efficiently conquer the game!

Acquire Technique Points
By raising your legend rank, you can acquire technique points. Technique points can be obtained as you reach the mark displayed on the Legend of the Ghost bar. Once you acquire technique points, unlock new skills and strengthen the protagonist, Jin Sakai!

Obtain Trophies
By building your legend rank, you can obtain the "The Ghost of Legend" trophy. To reach the rank of "Ghost of Tsushima" and obtain the "The Ghost of Legend" trophy, you need to clear the side quests and mythic tales.
