On August 6, the free update Version 1.06 for Ghost of Tsushima was released. In addition to the improvement of the Traveler's Attire, this update includes the expansion of the Text Size Assistance feature added in version 1.05. There are also fixes for bugs that caused the story to become unplayable, further enhancing the gameplay experience.
Improvement of Traveler's Attire
With the Version 1.06 update, the functionality of the armor "Traveler's Attire" has been improved. In addition to its previous effects, fireflies now appear and glow green when there are items nearby. The fireflies guide you to the location of the items, making it easier to visually locate them.

On July 28, the free update Version 1.05 for Ghost of Tsushima was released. It includes the addition of a new difficulty level, additional assist features, and bug fixes.
Addition of Difficulty Level "Lethal"

With the Version 1.05 update, a new difficulty level called "Lethal" has been added. In this difficulty level, both the player and enemies can deal fatal damage, and enemy attacks become more intense. Additionally, parrying and evasion require more precise timing, allowing for a more realistic and challenging combat experience.

The Version 1.05 update introduces the assist feature "Decrease Combat Load". When this feature is enabled, the player can block most unblockable attacks. Additionally, the player will not be attacked while recovering health, making it easier for beginners to play. Various features designed for beginners have been implemented, creating a more accessible mode for newcomers.

In the version 1.05 update, the "Text Size" has been added to the accessibility feature. When the "Text Size" is turned on, subtitles and some text will be displayed in a larger size, making it easier to read.
How to Update
Open the menu on the HOME screen and execute

To update the game, navigate to the application for 'Ghost of Tsushima' on the PS4 HOME screen. Then, press the OPTION button on the controller to open the menu and select "Check for Update". After selecting, the update will start automatically.
Internet connection is required
To update the game, make sure your PS4 is connected to the internet. If you are unable to update, try reconfiguring your internet connection.
