Poisoning the Mongol's Fermented Milk
After crossing the rope from the tower and passing through the gap next to the gate, poison the milk at the campsite in the back. You can reach it from either the left or right route, but the left route is recommended as it is easier to progress. Proceed along the left wall and poison the milk at the two locations to advance the story.
Taking the Right Route by Climbing the Roof
If you choose to go to the milk from the right route, it is best to climb the roof. Walking on the roof and the top of the fence will safely lead you to the milk.
Defeating Ryuzo (2nd encounter)
You will once again fight Ryuzo. The basic fighting style is the same as the first battle, but his attack power is higher and he is more aggressive in pursuing you. Watch his movements carefully and approach the battle with caution.

The basic strategy is to attack after evading or parrying
Just like in the first battle, the basic strategy is to attack after evading or parrying and taking advantage of the opening. Be careful not to attack too much, as you may leave yourself vulnerable to counterattacks. Attack a few times and then create distance to repeat this process and deal damage.
How to Parry and Tips |
Use strong attacks when Ryuuzou is in the Stone stance
When Ryuuzou is in the stone stance, he does not defend himself, so it's a good opportunity to use strong attacks. Sometimes Ryuuzou may interrupt his stance if he gets hit. However, be aware that his attacks are quick and cannot be defended against, so after attacking once or twice, create distance and prepare to evade.
Try to parry the thrust attacks
Ryuzo has several types of thrust attacks, but the ones with longer wind-up animations are easier to time for parrying, so actively try to parry them. However, if you haven't learned the "Unyielding Sword Parry" technique, these attacks cannot be defended against. If you haven't learned this technique, focus on evading instead.

Recommended Techniques List |
Be cautious of the 3 consecutive thrust attacks from the right side
When Ryuzo prepares for a thrust attack from the right side, remember that it comes in a series of 3 consecutive attacks. If you choose to evade, a single evasion won't be enough to avoid the following attacks. What you can do is perform multiple rolls to create enough distance between you and Ryuzo.
Evade the sweeping attack from the lower right
When Ryuzo performs a sweeping attack from the lower right, it is possible to get hit even if you try to evade to the left or right. Therefore, step or roll backward. If you have learned the technique, "Unyielding Sword Parry," use it to defend against the second sweep.
