Walkthrough for "The Ghost of Yarikawa"

Destroying the Mongol Siege Weapon

After defeating the enemies invading Yarikawa, head to the cliff to destroy the Mongol siege weapon. To climb up the cliff, go right from the town and there will be a point where you can use the grappling hook.

Defeating General Temuge

Return to Yarikawa and open the mansion gate to start the boss battle with Captain Temuge. It is recommended to use the water stance to fight against Temuge, who is a shielded enemy.

Pushing Back the Mongol Soldiers with the Ghost Stance

After defeating Captain Temuge, the "Ghost Stance" will be unlocked. It can be activated by either beheading a leader or defeating a certain number of enemies without taking damage, and while active, you can instantly kill enemies with a single strike. Use it to push back the Mongol soldiers inside the fortress.

Tips for Defeating Temuge Chief

Fight with the Water Stance

It is recommended to fight Temuge Chief with the Water Stance, as he is a shield-type soldier. In particular, the △ button attack is effective, so if Temuge is holding his shield, hold down △ and then rapidly press △ to break his stance. When his stance is broken, Temuge will be defenseless for a certain period of time, so launch a fierce attack.

Avoid Fire Attacks

While fighting, Temuge can set his sword on fire. When Temuge's sword is burning, all attacks become unguardable and inflict a burning effect. Attacks that cannot be guarded will glow red, so quickly evade and create distance when you see the red glow. If you get hit and catch fire, you can extinguish it by rolling.

Aim for Parries with Normal Attacks

When the sword is not burning, you can defend and deflect normal sword attacks. Watch Temuge's movements carefully and time your defenses well to aim for parries. However, be careful as shield attacks cannot be defended against.
