It is recommended to use smoke bombs to escape from enemies. After using a smoke bomb, enemies will lose sight of you for a certain period of time, allowing you to escape and hide. If you can hide without being noticed, you can once again defeat enemies with a surprise attack.
Use when surrounded by a group of enemies
It is recommended to use smoke bombs when surrounded by a group of enemies. Enemies who are exposed to the smoke will be immobilized and lose sight of you for a certain period of time, allowing you to defeat them easily. Additionally, the technique, "Blinding Dust," allows you to defeat enemies who have been exposed to the smoke with a surprise attack, so prioritize learning this skill.

Effects of Smoke Bombs
Generate smoke to obstruct vision
The Smoke bomb is a ghost weapon that generates smoke at your feet to obstruct the enemy's vision. When using a smoke bomb, enemies will lose sight of you, allowing you to escape or launch a surprise attack.
Smoke Bomb Techniques
Blinding Dust
The Blinding Dust technique causes enemies who are exposed to the smoke to be blinded and also extends the duration of the smoke effect. Blinded enemies can be assassinated, making it recommended for quickly defeating enemies.

Equipping Smoke Bombs
Equipping with R2 and Down on the D-pad
Smoke bombs can be equipped with R2 and Down on the D-pad. After equipping, press the R1 button to throw a smoke bomb at your feet.

Raise Jin's Legend Rank
Smoke bombs can be obtained by raising Jin's Legend Rank. When you raise Legend, you will enter the weapon unlocking screen, where you can select the smoke bomb to obtain it. Jin's Legend increases by clearing quests such as main story and side quests or by clearing Mongol camps.
