Walkthrough for "The Wolves at the Gates"

| 1 | Talk to Yuna at Jogaku Temple. |
| 2 | Head to Sago Prefecture and talk to Takeshi at his campsite on the summit. |
| 3 | Go to Fort Kaminodake and climb the cliff using a grappling hook from the roof of a broken hut. |
| 4 | Investigate two locations in the fortress from the top of the cliff. |
| 5 | Defeat the Mongol soldiers inside the fort with Takeshi and others. |
| 6 | After talking to Takeshi, ambush the cavalry entering through the gate. |
| 7 | Climb up to the stronghold using a ladder and investigate two locations. |
| 8 | Infiltrate the stronghold using a grappling hook. |
| 9 | Take a fire spear and use it to eliminate the Mongol soldiers. |
| 10 | Assist the allies at the south gate and defeat all the Mongol soldiers. |
Defeating the Mongol Soldiers at Fort Kaminodake
After investigating Fort Kaminodake from the top of the cliff, infiltrate the fort and defeat all the Mongol soldiers. When you defeat a few enemies, Takeshi and others will provide support with their bows. Take advantage of this opportunity to silently take down enemies who are distracted by the bows, as it will efficiently reduce their numbers. Additionally, there are also enemy captains, so it is recommended to use ghost weapons such as smoke bombs and windchimes for better chances of success.

Invade the main keep and control the fire spear
Use the grappling hook to invade the main keep. There is a fire spear on the left side of the building, so defeat the nearby enemies and control the fire spear. After defeating the Mongol soldier standing next to the fire spear, approach the fire spear and press R2 to operate it.
