It is recommended to reduce the number of enemies by using stealth kills to avoid being detected, and only engage in combat with the Mongol soldiers if you are discovered, using the Samurai style.

Furthermore, when capturing a Mongol stronghold, achieving any optional objective displayed in the top left corner of the screen will grant you a bonus.
