The mythic technique "Heavenly Strike" can be learned by accepting the quest "Heavenly Strike" from the wandering musician at Komatsu Forge in Izuhara and clearing it. There are no specific conditions for the quest, and no other skill is required to learn it, so it is recommended to learn it early on.

Effect of the Heavenly Strike

Resolve Consumption 1
Command △ + ◯
Effect ・Deals damage to enemy's health and stagger gauge
・Unblockable
・Additional damage to staggered opponents
・May cause nearby enemies to become staggered

Unblockable Strong Attack

The Heavenly Strike is an unblockable attack. It allows you to forcefully deal damage to bosses or opponents without effective defenses. Additionally, it also deals damage to the stagger gauge, making it effective when you want to break the enemy's guard.

Consumes 1 unit of resolve

Using the Heavenly Strike consumes 1 unit of resolve. While the consumption is not high, it can quickly run out if used repeatedly. Therefore, make sure to have methods to replenish resolve, such as using recovery charms or using regular attacks to conserve resolve.

Deals massive damage to staggered opponents

The Heavenly Strike already has high power when used normally, but it deals even more damage when used against staggered opponents. For enemies with high health, such as bosses or captains, it is recommended to break their guard before using this attack.

Causes nearby enemies to become terrified

Defeating enemies with the Heavenly Strike may cause nearby enemies to become terrified. Terrified enemies will flee, and if you defeat them by attacking with a bow while they are fleeing, you can obtain the "Witness Protection" trophy. Therefore, it is recommended to attack them with a bow at least once.

When you want to quickly defeat weak enemies
When the boss or captain is staggering
When you want to finish off an enemy with one final blow

The Heavenly Strike is an unblockable and highly powerful move, making it effective when you want to quickly defeat weak enemies. Even if the enemy manages to withstand the attack, they will stagger after a few consecutive strong attacks, allowing you to defeat most weak enemies within the first 1-3 strikes.

When facing a strong enemy, make them stagger and then use Heavenly Strike. The additional damage will deal a significant blow, allowing you to quickly deplete the enemy's health.

The Heavenly Strike is unblockable, ensuring that you can reliably deal damage to the enemy. Use it as a finishing blow when you have the opportunity to defeat the enemy with just one more hit.
