How to Save
Saving from the Menu Settings
In Ghost of Tsushima, you can save from the menu settings. Open the menu with the OPTIONS button, navigate to the settings with the R1 button, and select "Save Game" displayed at the bottom left of the screen.
Additionally, even if you haven't saved the game from the settings screen, it will be automatically saved through autosave. You don't have to worry about losing your save data if you exit the application, as you can load the game from the autosave data.
Maximum of 10 Save Slots
In Ghost of Tsushima, you can have up to 10 separate save data slots. This can be useful if you want to save before a boss battle or if you want to choose different options in the game.

When to Save
Save at Any Time from the Menu
You can save at any time from the menu screen, regardless of whether you are in the middle of a quest or not. Even if you exit the application without saving, there will be autosave data, so there is no problem. However, to prevent the loss of save data just in case, it is recommended to save before exiting the game.
