Benefits of Collecting Banners

Obtain Horse Equipment (Saddle)

Banner_Benefits

By collecting a certain number of banners, you can obtain a saddle. You can receive the equipment at the blacksmith building in the southwest of Komatsu. However, in order to unlock the banner exchange, you need to progress through the story until completing the "Hammer and the Forge" mission.
