Walkthrough for "Honor and Ash"

| 1 | Exit the building and head to the right back, towards the stable. |
| 2 | Go to the sacred tree without being detected and investigate the nearby corpses and bloodstains. |
| 3 | Collect weapons from the box and talk to Yuna at the tower. |
| 4 | Investigate the pagoda from the tower. |
| 5 | Ride the horse and follow Yuna. |
| 6 | Investigate two locations in the lake. |
| 7 | Defeat the enemies at the camp and rescue the prisoners. |
| 8 | After investigating two locations in the lake, raise the signal fire and defeat all Mongol soldiers. |
| 9 | Go to Jogaku Temple and head to the frozen waterfall. |
| 10 | After defeating all Mongol soldiers, rescue the prisoners and talk to Yuna. |
Sneak to the Stable
After escaping from the building, head to the right back and make your way to the stable. Jin doesn't have any weapons, so you cannot defeat the soldiers by attacking from the shadows. Move through the rooftops and under the buildings to avoid being detected.
Defeat the Mongol Soldiers by Exploding Barrels
When you raise the signal fire, the Mongol soldiers in the lake will approach you. There is a red barrel in the center of the lake, so when the enemies walk towards the center, use your bow and arrow to explode the barrel. Progress the quest by defeating all the Mongol soldiers.
Defeating the Mongol Soldiers at Jogaku Temple
In Jogaku Temple, defeat all the Mongol soldiers to rescue the prisoners. The man with a golden helmet carrying a shield is the captain, so you can perform a decapitation attack by approaching him from behind. After decapitating the captain, activate the Ghost Stance and take down the remaining enemy soldiers.
