How to Observe
1 | Find a Mongol base with the optional mission "Find and assess the Mongol captain's movements" |
2 | Find the captain without being detected and hold down the R2 button |
Finding a Mongol Camp with the objective of "Observe the Mongol Leader"
First, look for a Mongol camp with the optional side mission "observe the Mongol leader." Generally, if it's a smaller base, there will be a mission to observe the movements, so it's best to explore smaller bases.
Observing the Mongol Leader while Remaining Hidden
Once you find a Mongol camp with the mission "observe the Mongol leader," try to find the leader while remaining hidden from the enemies. When you locate the leader, hold down the R2 button while observing the captain to assess their movements.
Observing is only possible when the leader is training
Observing can only be done when the leader is in training. If you are discovered and they become alert, the leader will stop training. Therefore, if you want to assess them, make sure to avoid being detected by enemies at all costs.
Benefits of Observing Mongol Leaders
Faster Mastery of Techniques
When observing the Mongolian leader, the points obtained from observing are counted separately from defeating them. In other words, you can obtain 2 points of stance progression from a single leader. This allows you to learn the next technique faster, so if there is an optional mission to "observe the Mongol leader," it is recommended to achieve it as much as possible.
