Recommended Use of Sticky Bombs

Use when enemies are grouped

It is recommended to use sticky bombs when enemies are grouped. They can deal damage to all enemies within the explosion range, allowing you to defeat multiple enemies at once.

Use against powerful enemies

Sticky bombs can deal significant damage regardless of armor or shields, making them ideal for use against strong enemies such as captains or elite soldiers. Enemies hit by the explosion may stagger or be knocked down, allowing you to easily follow up with additional attacks.

Effects of Sticky Bombs

Stick to surfaces and cause explosive damage

Sticky bombs stick to the impact area or to enemies and cause explosive damage after a certain period of time. The explosion can also damage surrounding enemies, making them particularly effective in group battles.

Guarded Throw

The Guarded Throw technique allows the bomb to explode nearby without taking damage. It enables the safe use of sticky bombs even at close range, so be sure to learn it if you plan on using sticky bombs frequently.

Explosive Powder

The Explosive Powder technique inflicts fatal damage on enemies hit directly and deals significant damage to enemies caught in the blast. It allows an efficient way to deal with enemies, so prioritize learning it if you plan on using sticky bombs frequently.

Equipping Sticky Bomb

Equipping with R2 and Up on the D-pad

Sticky bombs can be equipped by pressing R2 and Up on the D-pad. Once equipped, pressing the R1 button will automatically throw them at nearby enemies.

Obtaining Sticky Bombs

Raise Jin's Legend Rank

The Sticky bomb can be obtained by raising Jin's Legend Rank. When you raise Legend, you will enter the weapon unlocking screen, where you can select the smoke bomb to obtain it. Jin's Legend increases by clearing quests such as main story and side quests or by clearing Mongol camps.
