The mythic tale, "The Heavenly Strike" can be received from the wandering musician (Biwa performer) located in the area west of the road from Komatsu Forge. You can receive the quest at any time after completing the game's tutorial, so try going to receive it once you have become accustomed to combat or obtained powerful charms.

The Heavenly Strike Walkthrough
1 | Talk to the wandering musician. |
2 | Proceed to River Falls Bridge and talk to the Farmer's Wife. |
3 | Move while looking at the footprints on the road. |
4 | Clear the Mongol camp. |
5 | Investigate the first floor of the tower in the Mongol camp |
6 | Investigate the area behind Plum Blossom Shrine to the west, where there is a white-leaf tree. |
7 | Defeat the Mongols attacking a house in the forest with the white-leaf tree to the west. |

Defeating the Mongols
In this mythic tale, you will engage in battle with the Mongols a total of three times. Since the enemies are densely packed in narrow areas, it is recommended to prepare accessories such as armor or bows in advance.

Heading to the Location of the White Leaf Tree from Plum Blossom Shrine
After clearing the Mongol camp, you will need to search for the white-leaf tree. The white leaf tree is located on the rocky mountain behind Plum Blossom Shrine, so head west while using the Torii gate as a landmark.
To reach the location of the white leaf tree, you can either climb the wall of the rocky mountain or jump from the shrine.

Defeating Yasuhira Koga
After defeating the Mongols at Shigenori's Rest, you will engage in a battle with Yasuhira Koga. Koga is known for his swift consecutive attacks, so it is recommended to either deflect or parry his initial attack to stop his onslaught. Additionally, when Koga sheathes his sword, he will perform an unavoidable strike, so be prepared to evade.
Maintaining a High HP
Koga also utilizes the unguardable heavenly strike. With minimal message prompts and his fast techniques, it is difficult to avoid taking damage. To be prepared for the heavenly strike, keep your HP more than half.

The heavenly strike is an unblockable attack. It can ignore the enemy's defense, making it particularly effective against shield bearers and large shield bearers. Furthermore, it deals additional damage to staggered opponents. Use it in crucial moments, even in boss battles!
