Jin Sakai (Protagonist)
A samurai fighting to protect Tsushima
Jin Sakai has been training daily as a proud samurai. However, Tsushima is on the brink of destruction due to the invasion of the Mongol army which uses unknown weapons and tactics. To protect his homeland, Jin abandons the pride and honor of a samurai and becomes the "Ghost," a resurrected warrior from the underworld, resorting to unorthodox methods of battle.

Shimura
The magistrate governing the regions of Tsushima
Shimura is Jin's uncle and the magistrate governing the vast regions of Tsushima. He has raised Jin to become a samurai who values honor, but he becomes increasingly concerned as Jin strays from the path of a samurai and becomes the "Ghost." In the trailer, we can see him trying to persuade Jin not to forget the honorable way of fighting.
Khotun Khan
The ruthless strategist of the Mongol army
Khotun Khan is the general leading the Mongol army's advance on Tsushima. He is a ruthless and cunning strategist who annihilates the samurai clans of Tsushima without hesitation. As the strongest enemy with great tactical skills, he stands in Jin's way.
Yuna
A female outlaw living in Komoda
Yuna is a female outlaw living in Komoda. Jin, who was gravely injured in battle, was nursed back to health by Yuna. She later asks Jin to help her rescue her brother, Taka. In exchange for Jin's assistance, she lends her strength to save Shimura.
Taka
Yuna's Younger Brother and a Blacksmith
Taka is Yuna's younger brother and a blacksmith. He was captured by the Mongols but was rescued by Jin and Yuna. Afterward, he assists Jin and Yuna and helps create new tools to fight against the Mongols.
Masako
Female Martial Artist from Tsushima
Masako is a female martial artist who fights alongside Jin to defend Tsushima from the Mongol invasion. She ends up fighting Jin because he protected a monk who was her family's enemy. After losing the duel, Masako decides to once again joins Jin to confront the Mongol army.
Ryuzo
Jin's Childhood Friend and Former Prisoner
Ryuzo is the childhood friend of the protagonist, Jin Sakai. He used to be a prisoner for hire but was recruited by the Straw Hat Ronin and is now their leader.
Tomoe
Former Disciple and Betrayer of Sensei Ishikawa
Tomoe is a former disciple of Ishikawa who appears in the book "The Tales of Ishikawa". She betrayed her hometown and Ishikawa to teach archery to the Mongols. As Ishikawa and Jin pursue her, they uncover Tomoe's true nature and the reasons behind her betrayal.
