How to Get the Crossbow
Found in the Ship on the Coast
The Crossbow can be found inside a ship on the Coast during Seattle Day 1. After swimming across the sea to the other side and climbing the stairs inside the ship, open the door to progress the story to automatically pick up the Crossbow.

How to Use the Crossbow
Ideal for stealth kills
The Crossbow is great when sneaking around as it produces minimal sound when fired. Additionally, the Crossbow does a lot of damage, allowing you to take down enemies with a single headshot, except for Shamblers and bosses.
Can conserve ammo
When using the Crossbow, you have a high chance of recovering arrows when landing a headshot. Successfully retrieving arrows allows you to defeat enemies without consuming additional ammo or arrows. Therefore, aim for the head whenever possible to conserve arrows.
Recommended Upgrades
Stability Upgrade
For those who struggle with accuracy, upgrade the Crossbow's stability to reduce hand tremors and make it easier to aim. When you execute a headshot, there is a chance to recover the arrow, so upgrading stability can also save ammo.
Doesn't need upgrades with enough skill
The Crossbow is a powerful weapon even without upgrades, so it is not necessary to make any. If you can aim well and don't need the extra stability, save the parts to upgrade other weapons instead.
