The Forest Walkthrough
| 1 | Defeat the Stalker via melee attacks. |
| 2 | Follow the woman with a torch (Yara). |
| 3 | Defeat multiple Stalkers. |
| 4 | Open the chain-link fence. |
| 5 | Defeat the tall Scar woman. |
| 6 | Check the workbench in the garage. |
| 7 | Enter the red door and get the Firearms Survival Guide. |
| 8 | Get the Failed Truce artifact from the table in another room. |
| 9 | Exit outside to progress. |
| 10 | Keep moving forward until you reach the locked door. |
| 11 | Survive the encounter against the infected until Lev comes back. |
| 12 | Progress via the red car. |
| 13 | Carry Yara and follow Lev into the building. |
Defeating Multiple Stalkers
When you follow the woman with a torch (Yara), you will be attacked by multiple Stalkers. Since Abby doesn't have any weapons, defeat them with melee attacks. Additionally, you can find bottles or bricks that are scattered around the car near the Stalkers. Throw them at the Stalkers by pressing the R2 button, which will stun them and allow you to perform a Strike.

Defeating the Tall Scar Woman
When you open the metal fence, you'll have to fight a tall Scar woman. Her attacks hit hard, so dodge with L1 and then counterattack to deal damage. Defeating her allows you to get back your equipment.
Exploring the Garage
Inside the garage, there is a workbench. In the red door room nearby, there is a Training Manual. In another room, there is an artifact on the table.
Fighting Infected at the Locked Door
When you examine the locked door, a large group of infected will attack you from behind, so take them down. Clickers will also appear, so it's better to have the Shiv unlocked and equipped in case you get grabbed.
Furthermore, a Shambler will appear later in the encounter. Avoid the toxic gas and snipe it from a distance while running around inside the building. Survive and defeat as many infected as you can until Lev comes back to help you escape.
