Get the Crossbow
The Crossbow is inside the ship. Similar to Ellie's bow, it silently takes down enemies. This weapon no longer requires drawing, and arrows are easily recovered. There are many infected onboard, so use the Crossbow to your advantage.

Cargo Yard to Ship Walkthrough
| 1 | Climb the container to cross the fence, then examine the workbench inside the building. |
| 2 | Head to the next room and collect the Gun Holster on the desk. |
| 3 | Get on the crates and exit through the window above. |
| 4 | Proceed cautiously through the container area. Be aware of Clickers and Stalkers. |
| 5 | Climb the debris and reach the road ahead. Then, find the Alabama coin near the corpse. |
| 6 | Attempt to jump over the broken road. (Check for collectibles before proceeding since there's no turning back by then.). |
| 7 | After falling into the water, swim to enter the ship. |
| 8 | Get the artifact Infirmary Note on the bed with a corpse. |
| 9 | Upon reaching the top of the stairs, open the door and get the Crossbow. Then, find the artifact Mutiny Note on the back of the room. |
| 10 | Turn right from the second floor and get the West Virginia coin at the corridor's end. |
| 11 | From your starting point, head north, go outside the ship and climb the stairs. |
| 12 | Examine the safe on the deck and get the Training Manual inside. (Safe Combination: 90-77-01). |
| 13 | Enter the cockpit and get the Ferry Log artifact. Climb the ladder after to get the Utah coin hidden behind it. |
| 14 | Head straight and jump back to the ground. (Check for collectibles before proceeding since there's no turning back by then). |
Stay Hidden while Navigating
There are Runners, Clickers, and Stalkers in the cargo yard. Engaging in combat with a Stalker will likely attract other infected. Therefore, make sure to check the locations of enemies as you proceed.

Collect Crossbow Arrows When Possible
The Crossbow is an effective weapon because of the low firing noise. Remember to retrieve the durable arrows from defeated enemies.

Training Manual from the Safe

You can get the Ordnance Training Manual inside a safe on the ship's deck. Utilize stealth skills to avoid getting noticed by the nearby Runner.

Avoid the Shambler
The Shambler near the cockpit door can be bypassed. Crouch and move quietly as you leave.

Ship to Aquarium Walkthrough
| 1 | Follow the path ahead, get the Mississippi coin in the fountain, and investigate the aquarium's entrance. |
| 2 | After seeing the aquarium, go to the right and enter the building. |
| 3 | Break the glass ceiling and throw the rope outside. |
| 4 | Exit the room by using the rope to climb the roof. |
| 5 | Smash the glass on the other side and drop into the building. |
| 6 | Head towards the Shark entrance and examine the Yacht for a cutscene. |
Climb the Roof Using a Rope
Since the aquarium's entrance is locked, break the glass ceiling and toss the rope outside. Then, using the thrown rope, climb up to the roof.
