Jumping Across Wet Platforms
In The Shortcut, there are many areas where you need to jump across wet platforms. Additionally, there are a lot of collectibles along the way, so make sure not to miss them as you go through the level.
Cabin to Blue Building Walkthrough
| 1 | Follow Lev. |
| 2 | Get the Nevada coin at the Barber Shop. |
| 3 | Get the Survivor Plea artifact on the second floor of the brick building. |
| 4 | Jump onto the highway to move forward (Note: You can't backtrack once you jump, so get the collectibles before proceeding). |
| 5 | Get the Neighbor Exchange artifact inside the building and open the safe (Code: 30 23 04). |
| 6 | Go up the building and jump from the scaffolding to the adjacent building (Note: You can't come back once you jump). |
| 7 | Defeat the infected in the building and use the white car as a platform to exit. |
| 8 | Enter the Interbay building, get the Scavenging List artifact near the corpse, and examine the workbench on the left. |
| 9 | Jump from the scaffolding to cross the river and enter the blue-walled building on the opposite side. |
Tips for Not Missing Collectibles
After leaving the cabin, follow Lev to progress. There are many collectibles along the way, so be sure not to miss them.

Defeating the Infected in the Building
There are infected inside the glass building you pass through. You can lure them with bottles and use stealth kills, but be careful as the space is narrow and you might be noticed, leading to a chaotic fight. If a fight breaks out, run to the back of the room and use the white car as a platform to leave the room temporarily.

Blue Building to Top Floor Walkthrough
| 1 | Immediately after entering the building, go out the window on the right and collect the Colorado coin on the awning. |
| 2 | Go back inside the building and explore the area beyond the blue door, climbing upwards. |
| 3 | Enter room 808 with the red door and get the Seraphite Truce artifact. |
| 4 | To advance the story, climb the ladder (Note: You can't backtrack once you climb the ladder). |
| 5 | Defeat the Seraphites. |
| 6 | Climb the ladder at the back of the room and examine the workbench. |
| 7 | Climb the ladder to exit outside. |
| 8 | Defeat the Seraphites and enter the door to the top floor. |
| 9 | Follow Lev to progress the story. Before leaving, the Seraphite Orders artifact is on a wall after taking the elevator. |
Defeating the Seraphites
After the blue building, you will encounter two areas where the Seraphites patrol. The first area has fewer enemies but a narrower space, resulting in close-quarters combat. It would be helpful to have a shiv or a melee weapon. The second area has more space but also more enemies, so consider using a rifle or bow to reduce their numbers.
