The Descent Walkthrough
| 1 | Dive to the bottom of the pool and obtain the Illinois coin. |
| 2 | While in the gym, check the kitchen's corkboard to find a code to open a safe. (code: 12 18 79). Enter the door on the left side of the gray door then open the safe. |
| 3 | Open the gray door and automatically get the FEDRA orders artifact from the dead body, then go down the stairs (Note: Opening the gray door is a point of no return, so search for collectibles beforehand). |
| 4 | Enter the door on the 19th floor and examine the dead body in the back room to collect a gas mask. |
| 5 | Return to Lev while defeating Stalkers along the way. |
| 6 | Enter the door on the 19th floor again, lift Lev onto the left step, and climb down the fire hose to the 15th floor. Search the immediate area for the FEDRA Final Note artifact near a dead body.) |
| 7 | Explore the 15th floor to find the Flamethrower in the room after the bathroom, after crossing the metal beams). |
| 8 | Fight the infected while going down the hole in the scaffolding and continue along the path. While exploring, pick up the Oregon coin in the room with the mirror, near the area where the Stalker is stuck in the wall). |

| 13 | At the hospital grounds, get the Missouri coin in the hallway to the right. |

Pick up the gas mask and fight Stalkers on the way back
When you reach the 19th floor, you'll temporarily separate from Lev and retrieve the gas mask. You can find the gas mask by examining the body in the back room. After retrieving the gas mask, multiple Stalkers will appear, so switch to the Pump Shotgun and return to Lev.
Explore on the way down
Once you reunite with Lev, move to the lower floor. It is recommended to explore as there are collectibles and weapons along the way. In particular, the Flamethrower is a powerful weapon against infected, so don't miss it.

Sneak through the floor with a lot of infected
As you continue descending, you will come across an open floor with a large number of infected. If you proceed slowly, you can reach the door in the back without being noticed. However, it is recommended to have the Flamethrower equipped just in case, as it can be used to kill Clickers and Shamblers when surrounded.
