Shambler's Characteristics
A New Infected that Releases Gas
The Shambler is a recently introduced infected enemy in this game, known for its large structure and thick pustule covering. It releases acidic gas and explodes upon death, further dispersing the gas.
List of All New Features |
Stealth Skills are Ineffective
Stealth skills are ineffective against Shamblers due to their thick skin. To defeat them, it is recommended to use firearms or throwable objects instead.
How to Defeat Shamblers
Fight from a Distance
The Shambler emits acidic gas when near humans. Players will lose health if they are within the gas-dispersed area, so maintain a safe distance by dodging or dashing.
Shambler Releases Gas Even When It's Dying
Maintain a safe distance even after eliminating a Shambler, as they will explode and continue emitting gas in the area for some time.
Use High-powered Weapons
These enemies have high durability, so using small weapons that consume ammunition would be wasteful. Consider using high-powered weapons such as the Pump Shotgun, Molotov Cocktails, or Bombs when battling a Shambler.
Bypass Enemies When Possible
Shamblers are less sensitive to sound and lack vision compared to other infected. In many instances, they can be bypassed using stealth. It is practical to conserve weapons and avoid engaging in combat if it is not necessary.
