This guide will help you find all holsters in The Last of Us Part II, covering both sections of Ellie and Abby. Use this as a reference for your gameplay!

Ellie's Holster Locations

Seattle Day 1: Barko's Pet Store in Downtown
The first Holster is located at the back of Barko's Pet Store in Downtown. Getting the Pet Store Key artifact is required to enter the store.
Steps to Get the Holster
| 1 | Go to Ruston Coffee Shop, located north of Downtown on the map. |
| 2 | Head to the restroom at the back, and defeat the Runner. |
| 3 | Get the Pet Store Key artifact located at the back of the restroom. |
| 4 | Unlock the door of Barko's Pet Store, next to the Valiant Music Shop. |
| 5 | Take a closer look at the holster on the counter in the back. |
Getting the Pet Store Key
Visit the Ruston Coffee Shop in Downtown. Prepare for a Runner that will attack upon entering the place. You can defeat it by using melee attacks.
Head to Barko's Pet Store
Once you get the key, head to Barko's Pet Shop next to the Valiant Music Shop. Since the main entrance is inaccessible, enter through the back door in the alley with Barko's Deliveries sign.
Getting the Holster
Proceed to the back of Barko's Pet Shop and examine the desk. The type of Holster you'll find depends on whether you got the Pump Shotgun from the Westlake bank. If you have the shotgun, you'll get a Long Gun Holster. Otherwise, a Short Gun Holster will be available.
Seattle Day 2: Garage Safe in Hillcrest

You can get the second Holster inside the Garage Safe in Hillcrest. Move the dumpster blocking the entrance. Be prepared for combat since five Runners would attack you upon entering. You can use explosives or Molotov cocktails to eliminate them efficiently.

Get a Holster You Don't Have
Get the opposite Holster type to your current one inside the Garage Safe. If you have the Long Gun Holster, you'll get the Short Gun Holster. Conversely, if you have the Short Gun Holster, you'll find the Long Gun Holster instead.
Abby's Holster Locations

Seattle Day 1: Building in Hostile Territory
Get the first Holster inside a building near the painted truck. Head to the room with a lucky cat through the back, then examine the Holster on the table to obtain it.
Holster Type Depends on the Hunting Pistol
The type of Holster you'll find depends on whether you have a Hunting Pistol. If you own the pistol, you'll get a Short Gun Holster. Otherwise, a Long Gun Holster will be available.
Seattle Day 1: Cargo Yard on The Coast
The second Holster is located within the cargo yard on The Coast during Seattle Day 1. After climbing up the container and crossing the fence, you'll reach a room with a workbench. Continue ahead and find the Holster on a table.
Get a Holster You Don't Have
Get the opposite Holster type to your current one within the cargo yard. If you have the Long Gun Holster, you'll get the Short Gun Holster. Conversely, if you have the Short Gun Holster, you'll find the Long Gun Holster instead.
