The Gate
| 1 | Ride a horse through the forest. |
| 2 | Go through the military buildings and scale the roofs in front of the gate to enter. |
| 3 | Activate the generator to open the fence and gate. |
Collect Collectibles on the Way
There are hidden artifacts, trading cards, and other collectibles in buildings around the gate. Be sure to stop by and get them, then gather journal entries and clues for gate access.
Downtown
| 1 | Examine the generator in front of East Gate 2. |
| 2 | Search for fuel at the Courthouse and The Dome in Downtown. |
| 3 | Find gasoline, return to East Gate 2, and enter the code 5345. |
| 4 | Infiltrate the WLF hideout by leaping over the fence. Defeat Runners on the first floor. |
Detour to Get Weapons
Get a Pump Shotgun and Holster in Downtown. Visit Westlake Bank, Ruston Coffee Shop, and Barko's to collect these equipment.

Eastbrook Elementary
| 1 | Untie yourself and take down enemies. |
| 2 | Turn off the flashlight, shoot enemies, and use stealth skills. |
| 3 | After the cutscene where WLF Soldiers and military dogs start searching, jump off the balcony to escape. |
Combat with Human Enemies
You will fight with humans in Eastbrook Elementary. Unlike infected, they react to the sight of dead bodies and light. These enemies are also equipped with firearms. Be careful in this section and quickly eliminate them one by one.
Capitol Hill
| 1 | Get supplies inside the apartment. |
| 2 | Take down WLF Soldiers and continue. |
| 3 | Avoid Trap Mines, and defeat Clickers and Runners along the way. |
Pass through the WLF Patrol Zone
There are plenty of WLF Soldiers patrolling the area on Capitol Hill. Eliminate the sniper on the rooftop and strategize first. You can use stealth skills to create diversions and make the WLF Soldiers encounter the infected.
Channel 13
| 1 | Use the rope to climb up the TV station. |
| 2 | Go out of the terrace and move along the ledge to reach the next room. |
| 3 | Check the partially open door on the third floor and discover Leah's lifeless body. |
| 4 | Escape from the TV station. |
Explore the TV Station
The TV station is enemy-free at the start, so explore the studio at your own pace. Make sure to find the available collectibles on the second and third floors of the area. If you didn't get the Pump Shotgun in Downtown, you can find it on the second-floor terrace.

The Tunnels
| 1 | Hold ○ to advance through the area. |
| 2 | Defeat WLF Soldiers and Clickers in the red-lit tunnel. |
| 3 | Eliminate Shamblers and Runners, then enter the door ahead. |
| 4 | When a large number of infected appears, follow Dina to escape quickly. |
Shamblers: New Infected
Shamblers, a new type of infected, appear in The Tunnels. It has a thick skin, so stealth skills are ineffective. Use high-damage weapons like Molotov cocktails or the Pump Shotgun to take them down.
The Theater
| 1 | Escape from the tunnel and enter the theater for a cutscene. |
| 2 | Go outside through the window on the second floor and activate the rooftop's generator. |
| 3 | Head backstage and trigger the event of Ellie playing the guitar. |
A Safe Area to Explore and Collect
The theater is a safe area with no enemies. While Ellie explores alone, pick up artifacts, cards, and supplies for crafting. Find the key after and head backstage to trigger the cutscene and clear this section.
The Birthday Gift
| 1 | Follow Joel. |
| 2 | Inspect the exploration pod on the second floor and trigger a cutscene. |
| 3 | Go outside and head to the Natural History Center. |
Explore with Joel at the Museum
The Birthday Gift is a flashback section where Ellie reminisces about Joel's birthday. There are artifacts, trading cards, and journal entries to collect here. Take some time to investigate the area while progressing through the story
