You will use various firearms, melee weapons, and throwable objects to combat the infected and enemy factions. Ellie and Abby are not always alone on their journey. They will be accompanied by various NPC allies who will assist them in multiple ways. They can help by spotting enemies, or providing direct support in combat when either Ellie or Abby is in trouble.
