Sniping Seraphites from a Distance

In The Flooded City, there is a section where you have to snipe enemies at the Seraphite hideout. Use the bow and rifle to efficiently reduce their numbers.

Fighting a Bloater

In The Flooded City, you will encounter a Bloater. The Bloater unleashes powerful charging attacks, but its movements are easy to learn. Dodge the charge before shooting, repeating this as many times as necessary until it goes down.

The Boat to Waterfront Hideout Walkthrough

Get on the Boat but Disembark to Explore

Once on the boat, use the left stick to move. You can disembark by pressing the triangle button, and it's recommended to explore various areas whenever the water is shallow enough
.

Exploring the Flooded Building

Inside the Garrett's building, the first building you enter by boat, there are collectibles such as artifacts, cards, and safes. Once you leave the building, you can't come back, so if you're aiming for 100% completion, make sure to explore it thoroughly.

Accessing the Safe Room through the Hole on the 2nd Floor

There is a safe inside the locked chain link fence area in front of the shutter exit. Move the obstacle on the second floor to reveal a hole. Crawl through it and jump over the window to reach the safe.

Defeating the Seraphites

As you continue on the boat, the were will be a shootout at the Seraphites' hideout. First, disembark on the monorail on the left and climb up to the top to get the Sniper's Note artifact.

After eliminating all the Seraphites, pick up the supplies inside the hideout. On the second floor of the hideout, you can find the Encampment Note artifact. And use the waterway below the hideout to progress the story

Climbing by Swinging on a Rope

There is a section where you can swing and jump using a rope. First, throw the rope down and hang onto it, then swing to get to another area.

Sniping the Seraphites

By sniping the Seraphites from the top of the cars, you can safely reduce their numbers. First, eliminate the Seraphites walking in the grass with a bow or rifle. Then, proceed to snipe the Seraphites inside the hideout.

The Platform across the Hideout is also a Sniping Point

You can also snipe from the platform across the hideout since it provides a good view of the Seraphites inside the hideout. Move to this spot once you've cleared the Seraphites outside the hideout.

Waterfront Hideout to Arcade Walkthrough

Exploring the Arcade

Once you arrive at the Arcade, get the Arcade Flyer artifact from the table in the seating area and head towards the second floor. Upgrade at the workbench on the second floor. Next, grab the cart on the second floor and push it forward to fall into the next encounter.

Defeating the Bloater

When you fall to the lower floor, you will engage in combat against the Bloater. The Bloater unleashes powerful charging attacks, but it has a large wind-up, making it easy to dodge. After dodging the charge, shoot, keep your distance, and repeat until you defeat it.

Swimming Towards the Aquarium

Once the boat becomes unusable due to rough waves, swim towards the aquarium. It's best to head in the direction of the Ferris wheel.

Tips for Defeating the Bloater

Avoid staying in the same spot

The Bloater will charge at you and Runners will join in the middle. If you stay in the same place, there is a high chance of being grabbed by the Runner and hit by the Bloater's charge attack. It is generally safe to run around to reposition to be able to shoot safely.

Attack only after avoiding the Bloater's charge attack

The Bloater performs a powerful charge attack, but it only moves in a straight line, making it easy to dodge. After avoiding the Bloater's charge attack, shoot it and then create distance again. When it charges again, dodge and repeat.

Molotov cocktails are also effective

Molotov cocktails are effective against the Bloater. Throwing one at the Bloater will momentarily stun it and cause continuous damage. Since it can also hit the Runners, it's a good idea to use Molotov cocktails if you have them.

Sidestep when the Bloater makes a throwing attack

In addition to its charge attack, the Bloater also throws toxic objects. When the Bloater makes a throwing motion, sidestep to avoid it. Be prepared to quickly dodge from the front of the Bloater to avoid its charge attack as well.

Keep a safe distance away and run when in danger

If you are in danger, such as being attacked or about to be surrounded, run away from the Bloater. You can change equipment and heal by getting far enough away and using the arcade machines as cover.
