Freely Explore the City
Freely explore Downtown. While the main story only requires you to visit The Dome and Courthouse, it's better to explore the remaining locations and collect other items around the map.

Enemies Appear in Certain Areas
You don't need to be cautious of all the Downtown locations since enemies only appear in The Dome, Courthouse, and Ruston Coffee Shop. Most of the buildings outside are safe for exploration.
The Gate Collectibles
| 1 | Examine the generator in front of East Gate 2. |
| 2 | Look for the FEDRA Census Document Artifact in the drawer to the left of the gate. |
| 3 | Search for fuel at the Courthouse and The Dome in Downtown. |
| 4 | Explore the Westlake Bank at the south of Downtown and get the following items: ┣ Bank Heist Plans Artifact ┣ Safe (Combination: 60-23-06) ┣ Bank Robber Letter Artifact ┣ Antique Ring Artifact ┗ Pump Shotgun |
| 5 | Head to the Ruston Coffee Shop at the northwest corner of Downtown and get the WLF Safe House Supply Note and Pet Store Key Artifacts, along with the Big Blue Trading Card. |
| 6 | Use the key to unlock Barko's, located slightly northwest of the map's center. Get the Join WLF Note Artifact, a Holster, and a Stun Bomb. |
| 7 | Explore other Downtown locations beside the Courthouse and The Dome to find artifacts, journal entries, workbenches, and more collectibles. ┗ Downtown Map and Locations |
Detour to Get Weapons
Get a Pump Shotgun and Holster in Downtown. Visit Westlake Bank, Ruston Coffee Shop, and Barko's to collect these equipment.

Infected at the Coffee Shop and Bank
Infected will appear at the Ruston Coffee Shop and Westlake Bank. There would be many Clickers and Runners, especially at the bank. Utilize tools like Bricks and Molotov Cocktails to defeat them efficiently.
Find Collectibles in Other Areas
There are many other collectibles to discover in the remaining Downtown locations, along with safes and workbenches. Get the Sightseer Trophy by exploring them all. Refer to the map to visit each exploration area.

The Dome Collectibles
| 1 | Enter the Dome and climb the ladder to your right. Get the Emergency Protocols Memo Artifact on a table. |
| 2 | Advance through the garden on the left side of the dome, defeating runners and clickers along the way, and enter the dome. |
| 3 | Get gasoline using the cargo carrier. |
| 4 | Make your way up the cargo carrier and swing across to the other balcony using the cable. |
| 5 | Go to the room at the end of the hall and inspect the wall calendar to get a Journal Entry. |
| 6 | Also get the Rabbi Saunders' Letter Artifact from the drawer of the same room. |
| 7 | After getting the collectibles, go outside through the window. (You cannot go back after leaving). |
Defeat Infected with Molotov Cocktails
Several Clickers and Runners will appear in some areas around the Dome. It would be challenging to use stealth skills. Use Molotov Cocktails instead to reduce enemy numbers.
Find All Collectibles Before Leaving
You would not be able to re-enter once you left the Dome. Make sure to get the Journal Entry and Artifact before going outside.
Courthouse Collectibles
| 1 | Head inside the Courthouse and defeat the infected. |
| 2 | Pass through the elevator hall and break the window of the room on the left to enter. |
| 3 | Get the Lt. Torres' Final Memorandum Artifact by examining the corpse at the back of the room. |
| 4 | Also get the List of Known WLF Agitators Artifact on the file cabinet near a whiteboard. |
| 5 | Unlock the Safe (Combination: 86-07-22) located below the window you entered from. |
| 6 | Leave the room and get the Plea to a Friend Letter Artifact from the corpse at the end of the corridor. |
| 7 | Drop down through the elevator wire and fend off some infected that will attack you. Use your guns and other melee weapons. (You cannot go back after leaving) |
| 8 | Get gasoline and return to the East Gate 2. |
Explore Before Leaving
Once you depart from the elevator hall, you won't be able to go back to the area. Explore to collect three artifacts and open the safe before leaving.
Defeat Clickers in the Parking Lot
Beware of numerous infected that would attack all at once when you reach the underground parking lot of the Courthouse. Prioritize defeating the Clickers and use the Pump Shotgun for easier takedowns.
Gate and Serevena Hotel Collectibles
| 1 | Power up the generator with gasoline and enter the East Gate 2 code 5345. |
| 2 | Clib over the fence and infiltrate the WLF Hideout. Defeat Runners on the first floor. |
| 3 | Head to the second floor and get the Stealth Training Manual in the bedroom to unlock the Stealth skill. |
| 4 | Get the Know It All Trading Card inside the drawer between the beds. |
| 5 | Also get the WLF Recruiter Journal Artifact from the drawer near the television. |
| 6 | Enter the room and check the blood-written passcode. |
| 7 | Exit the hideout after unlocking the East Gate 1, then proceed straight. (You cannot go back after leaving) |
Pick up the Training Manual
You can get the Stealth Training Manual on the second floor of the Serevena Hotel. Unlock useful skills like activating Silencers that allow you to fight without alerting the enemies.

Sightseer Trophy Conditions
Downtown has exploration locations numbered from ① to ⑩. Visiting them all unlocks the Sightseer Trophy. Progress through the story while stopping by these locations.
Locations ⑪ to ⑬ are Not Required for the Trophy
You can still get the trophy even if you skip the tank at location ⑪, the ruined building at ⑫, and the fire truck at ⑬. Completionists should visit these locations to collect artifacts and training manuals.
