Recommended Items from the Merchant

Sniper Rifle | ★★★★・High firepower for easy enemy elimination |
First Aid Spray | ★★★・・For when healing items run out |
Materials | ★★・・・For when ammo runs out |
Rocket Launcher | ★★・・・Maximum firepower weapon for boss battles |

Prioritize purchasing the Case Size Upgrade
Once the Merchant is unlocked, prioritize purchasing the Case Upgrade. With the upgrade, you can expand the slots in your attache case which allows you to carry more items.
Prioritize the Sniper Rifle for boss battles
For boss battles, prioritize purchasing a high-powered Sniper Rifle. The recommended options are the SR M1903 from Chapter 2 onwards or the Stingray from Chapter 7 onwards.
If you don't have any means of recovery, buy the First Aid Spray
If you run out of recovery items like herbs, consider buying the First Aid Spray. Using the First Aid Spray will fully restore your health, so use it when your health is critically low.
If you run out of Ammo, consider crafting materials
If you've used up all your Ammo, it's a good idea to buy materials. Craft Gunpowder with the materials you find along the way to obtain more Ammo.
Rocket Launcher is also useful for boss battles
For boss battles or tough enemies, the Rocket Launcher is a powerful weapon. However, it's quite expensive at 50,000 Pesetas. Only buy it if you have enough money.
If you're playing on a high difficulty, buy the Body Armor
If you're playing on a high difficulty, consider buying the Body Armor to reduce damage from enemies. If the durability of the Body Armor decreases, you can repair it at the Merchant.

Weapon Upgrades
When you talk to the Merchant, you can have your weapons upgraded. Weapon upgrades allow you to increase the power and ammo capacity of your weapon. If you feel that the enemies along the way are too strong, try modifying your weapons to make them stronger.
Selling Upgraded Weapons Refunds the Upgrade Cost
If you sell an upgraded weapon, the amount of money spent on upgrades will be added to the selling price. When switching to a different weapon, sell the modified weapon to obtain funds.

Selling Inventory Items
When you talk to the Merchant, you can sell unwanted items. In addition to items, you can also sell Gemstones obtained during your journey for a high price. Instead of discarding unwanted items found during exploration, sell them to the Merchant. Combining Gemstones and Treasures before selling them will fetch a higher price.
Weapons can be Repurchased
Weapons sold to the Merchant can be repurchased later. However, the upgrades will be reset, so choose wisely when selling weapons to avoid regrets.
