How to Complete Chapter 12: Step-by-Step
| Steps to Clear Chapter 12 | |

| 1 | Proceed straight and get on the elevator. |
| 2 | Get off the elevator and prepare for the chapter's progression as there is a Merchant. |
| 3 | Get on the gondola and head towards Clock Tower. |
| 4 | Upon entering Clock Tower, there will be a battle after the Ramon event. |
| 5 | Continue climbing up Clock Tower. |
| 6 | Proceed up the stairs and then take the lift up. |
| 7 | Once you reach the top floor on the lift, go outside and proceed along the outer perimeter of Clock Tower. |
| 8 | Prepare for the boss battle at the Merchant inside the indoor area accessible from the outer perimeter of Clock Tower. |
| 9 | Proceed straight and open the door, then battle Ramon after the event. |
| 10 | After the battle with Ramon, proceed straight and interact with the boat to start the event and clear Chapter 12. |
Take the Elevator
At the start of the chapter, you will automatically receive Luis's Key. Collect any available items like herbs around you, then head to the back and take the elevator.
Prepare for Battle at the Merchant's Location
Once you're off the elevator, gear up for the upcoming challenges at the Merchant's location nearby. No new equipment is available, but you can stock up on materials and First Aid Sprays.
Board the Lift to the Clock Tower Area
After you've stocked up, board the lift to go to the Clock Tower area. Remember, you can always head back to the old castle if needed.
Battle After Ramon Encounter
Once you enter the Clock Tower area, an event with Ramon will trigger. A battle with cultists will follow, so make sure to reload your weapons and heal up.
Ascend the Clock Tower
Defeat the cultists as you make your way upward. Handguns are useful, but a Shotgun is recommended for shield-bearing enemies.

Take the Lift Upwards
Once you reach the top of the stairs, board the lift to continue upward. Cultists will attempt to board the lift, so either prevent them from getting on or kick them off.
Prioritize Defeating the Zealots in Red Robes
While on the lift, Zealots in red robes will appear. Target them first, as they can incapacitate you.
Move Along the Clock Tower Perimeter
After the lift reaches the top, head outside and move along the Clock Tower perimeter. Be cautious: the platforms can collapse.
Get Ready for the Boss Battle
Gear up for the boss battle at the Merchant's place. It's a good idea to upgrade your Sniper Rifle and Magnum for this fight.

Defeat Ramon Salazar
After gearing up, proceed straight and open the gate to initiate an event with Ramon. Then, engage him in a boss battle using your most powerful weapons.

Use Pillars for Cover
During the battle, use the pillars on the map to avoid Ramon's acid attacks.
Aim for Ramon's Main Body
Focus your attacks on the main body of Ramon that becomes visible from his outer shell.
Eliminate Acid Pools Regularly
Ramon frequently produces acid pools at your feet, which can cause damage if you step on them. If you're too engrossed in pursuing Ramon and neglect to watch the ground, you're more likely to get hurt. Make sure to use your Handgun to clear these acid pools whenever you get the chance.

Obtain the Emerald from the Crow's Nest
You can find the Scratched Emerald by shooting the nest after following the Crow. The Merchant in the nearby area serves as a helpful landmark.

Use Chicken Eggs to Complete the Task
The task of defacing the Salazar Family Portrait can be accomplished by throwing Chicken Eggs at the paintings. If you don't have any Chicken Eggs, there are chickens in the Throne Room that will lay them for you. Wait until they do, then collect the eggs. Note that the small painting on the north side is the one you should target.

In Chapter 12, the Clockwork Castellan can be found in the materials storage room on the northwest side of the Clock Tower's 1st floor. As you'll encounter a large number of enemies during the event in this area, it's advisable to either destroy the mechanical dolls first or eliminate all the enemies before proceeding with your search.
