Some Requests involve destroying Blue Medallions. By fulfilling the conditions, you can obtain Spinel as a reward. Spinel is an item that can be exchanged for Yellow Herbs or Treasure Maps, so make sure to collect them.

Any weapon can destroy them if you can attack
Blue Medallions can be destroyed with any weapon, not just guns. If a coin is within reach without using a gun, using a Knife to destroy it will save Ammo.
